Peachtree City BMX local race
Submitted by GeorgiaBMX.com on February 25, 2007 - 1:18pm.
After a little break from BMX racing, I stopped by Peachtree City and took a few photos of their local race yesterday. They had a pretty good turn out with 17 motos. Not back with another NBL local race taking place about an hour away at the same time. The usual suspects were on hand along with some new faces. It's good to see the sport starting to grow early in the session.

The Fall Classic has a great turn out despite the rain earlier in the week. The track had resently been rebuilt and all the hard work the local track put into getting ready really showed. In addintion to the Fall Classic, a second race was held Saturday for the Southeast Regional Championships.
NBL - Georgia State Championships - Augusta GA
Submitted by GeorgiaBMX.com on September 23, 2006 - 1:00pm.
Augusta BMX hosted the 2006 NBL Georgia State Championships yesterday. Riders from all over the state came to compete in the finial race in the state series that started in Peachtree City earlier this year and made the rounds to all of the NBL tracks within the state, including Albany, McDonough, and Augusta. This year’s series was challenged with a “little rain” at each qualifying races with Augusta’s race having to be rescheduled at the last minute the morning of the race. Our calendar shows that yesterday was the start of the fall session and we don’t know was hotter yesterday, the 90+ temperature in Augusta or the 9 rookie racing. The “green machine” Luke Doran from Martinez Georgia and Jacob Hilton from Doerun Georgia were on each other like stink on a skunk all day. It was great seeing several other riders showing off their new national numbers they earned just a few weeks ago in Louisville at the NBL Grand Nationals.
The Team Race also was had some great racing. We look forward to next years Team series.
